Premium-grade matcha

Premium-grade (sometimes called daily-grade or latte-grade) is the middle tier of matcha — bright green, smooth enough to drink with water but cheap enough not to feel guilty about putting it in a latte. For most people making matcha at home, this is the right grade to buy. Slight grass and bitterness are fine; pungent or hay-like flavor is not. Expect $15–30 for a 30g tin.
