Culinary-grade matcha
Matcha designed to survive heat, milk, and sugar.
Also known as: culinary matcha
Culinary-grade matcha uses older shaded leaves and is ground less finely. Its flavor is sharper, more bitter, and more vegetal — designed to stand up to milk, sugar, baking heat, or blender ice. Don't drink it plain; it's not built for that. For lattes, smoothies, ice cream, and matcha-flavored baking, culinary grade is the right (and far cheaper) tool. Expect $8–15 for a 30g pack.
